Criminal Events

July 9, 1996: charged with failure to register in Arizona, a misdemeanor. [AZ 45491509] - There are also various traffic violations including failure to maintain financial responsibility as well as the suspension of his driver’s license from 1994 through 1996.

April 6, 1999: accused of “theft of property,” a Class B misdemeanor for issuing a check on insufficient funds. Restitution was made on April 26, 2007.

August 3, 1999: warrant issued in Arizona for “interfering with judicial proceedings.”

December 3, 2002: arrest warrant was issued out of Maricopa County, Arizona for “failure to pay child support.”

May 21, 2004: Class A misdemeanor for “computer breach” charge is filed. The charges were refiled on December 17, 2004. Subject accepted “deferred adjudication” and was assessed 100 hours of community service. [County records: 20040C18459]

November 7, 2007: The El Paso Police Department investigates “theft of property” complaint [EPPD police report: 07-309141] against the subject.

May 15, 2012: The El Paso Police Department investigates the subject on a “criminal mischief” complaint. [EPPD police report: 12-136025]

July 3, 2012: The El Paso Police Department investigate the subject on a “burglary of habitation” allegation. [EPPD police report: 12-185173]

May 13, 2013: State Felony charge is filed against the subject for unlawful access of a computer system and for displaying “harmful material to a minor.” Subject turned himself into the Sheriff’s Department for booking on February 8, 2013. On June 6, 2013, the state felony was reduced to a misdemeanor. [County records: 20130C06078]

October 27, 2014: Jaime Remigio Abeytia pleaded guilty to “breach of computer security.” The guilty plea stems from the May 13, 2013 which charged the subject with showing a nude picture of his common law wife to two 17-year-old daughters.

November 5, 2014: Probation documents for subject’s guilty plea on October 27, 2014 are filed at the court. The subject was assessed 180 days at the El Paso County Jail and fined $3,600 plus $267.00 in court costs. Two thousand dollars of the fine was probated by the court. The jail sentence was probated by the court. As part of the sentence, the subject was assessed 100 hours of community service, was required to report to the West Texas Supervisions and Corrections Department at least every 30 days and was placed on a 10:00pm to 6:00am curfew.

Civil Judgements

April 24, 1996: Civil judgement for $57,540.00 issued against the subject in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

January 30, 2018: Child support judgment for $12,264.45 issued against the subject in El Paso, Texas.
